Hi Everyone, I'm CeCe. I've never done a red carpet look before, but it's always been my
dream to be able to walk on the red carpet one day :) Thanks to one
of my favorite youtube gurus - KandeeJohnson, i got this amazing chance
to create a red carpet makeup tutorial for L'oreal's Destination Beauty Channel's
"Next Makeup Guru" Contest.
I looked through lots of pictures from the 2012 Golden Globes - most of their eye makeup
are very subtle, the emphasis is on their eyelashes and eyeliner. It it important
to use some facial or eye mask the night before in order to have "seemingly" flawless
skin (drink lots of water too).
Here are a few pictures:
This time, i started with eye makeup first since i had to deal with loose pigments, which
had a potential to mess up my base makeup. Lots of eyeshadows were
used to achieve a well-blended and subtle smoky eyemakeup. As for
the base makeup, it is important to use a primer or a base to
help the foundation/BB cream last longer and go on smoother.
The key is to pay attention to every detail, because you will
be taking lots of photos on the red carpet.
